What can I cut with this?

You may cut all sorts of fruits and vegetables and many more with this. This product performs better with food that is less bulky and those of softer textures. For easier cutting, cutting smaller pieces will allow you to use the Smart Cutter with more ease. Examples of food you can easily cut: apples, cucumbers, celery, tomatoes, carrots, cheese, salami, onions, garlic, bread, cooked chicken and steak. 

Can I cut ___ with this? (if it's something we are not sure will be able to cut through)

This would depend on the size of it. In general, the Smart Cutter performs better with food that is less bulky and those of softer textures. Especially if the food is of tougher texture, cutting smaller pieces will allow you to use it with more ease.

Can I cut meat with this?

This product can cut through meat like sausages or tender types of meat. It also has enough power to cut through cooked meat, like steak or chicken.

Can I cut frozen meat with this? 

The Smart Cutter may not be able to cut through frozen meat, but it has enough power to cut through cooked meat like steak or chicken or more tender types of meat like sausages and ham.

Can I cut vegetables with this? 

Yes, you may, but this depends on the type and size of the vegetables you’re cutting up. Smaller-sized / softer vegetables would work better.

What is the material of the cutting board?

The cutting board is made out of PP material.

Is this product BPA-free?

Yes, the Smart Cutter does not contain BPA.

What is the material of the blades?

The Smart Cutter blades are made of stainless steel. 

What is the material of the handle?

The handle is made out of food-grade ABS soft-grade silicon.

The entire cutter has a length of 24.5 cm, with the handle being 9.5cm long.

Cleaning

How do I clean this product?

You may wash the Smart Cutter by hand or in the dishwasher. Allow the product to air dry before storage, and ensure that the safety lock is engaged when washing or storing.  

Is this product dishwasher safe?

Yes, it is.

Can both left and right-handed users use the Smart Cutter?

Yes! This product is perfectly suitable for both left and right-handed users alike. 

Only for kitchen use?

Yes, this product should only be used for kitchen and food usage. Do not use the product other than its intended purpose.

Can I use them as regular scissors?

This product should only be used for kitchen and food usage. Do not use the product other than its intended purpose.

Does it work as well as a regular knife?

We would compare its ability to that of a fruit / paring knife, as it's roughly the same size as knives of that sort. 

Will it rust easily?

No, the Smart Cutter blades do not rust if proper cleaning care is maintained. After washing, make sure to allow it to air-dry before storing. 

Can it be sharpened when the knife dulls?

The Smart Cutter cannot be sharpened when the knife is dull.

Can the cutting board be disassembled?

The cutting board cannot be disassembled, but the knife can be separated to be used on its own.
